What we do exactly
To put it simply, we offer a unique service helping Islanders with the moving of their cargo with our Dock-To-Dock service. We carry light to medium equipment and supplies offshore and vice versa.
We have a rigged commercial vessel that can carry up to 1,100 lbs. Unlike a landing craft, we have Port & Starboard loading only. Our openings are 5ft (60") coupled with a pair of 1000 lbs ramps and 500 lbs hand truck.
Our goal and promise to you
D&D Solutions' primary goal is to deliver friendly, safe, affordable and efficient transportation of goods and logistical solutions. We promise to help make shipping over water much easier and more convenient than EVER before!
What we are planning for 2023!
If all goes according to plan, We will be launching Phase II Spring of 2023, if this years expected business growth reaches a certain threshold. It will also depend if the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions are fully lifted by this summer.
What is phase II you might ask? Phase II is a plan to develop a warehouse or facility on-shore where our customers could conveniently have their goods shipped, stored and easily loaded onto our boat(s).
Only then, will we reveal what D&D stands for!
Our Future Endeavors
The future can hold many surprises, but we know, there's a couple things we would really like to see happen as part of our business venture. As the founder of D&D Marine Transport, I have a lot of goals and ideas; have a sneak peak below:
- Provide backup firefighting services along with our boats equipped with fire suppressing equipment for a quick response in the event of a fire.
- Provide some emergency locksmith/lockout services. (training in progress)
- Provide private property maintenance and upkeep services.
