What we do.
To put it simply, we offer a niche service helping Islanders with moving cargo with our Dock-To-Dock service. We carry light to medium equipment and supplies offshore and vice versa. We also offer water taxi/shuttle service for Parks Canada and all of 1000 Islands.
Our boat is commercially registered. It can carry up to 1,100 lbs of cargo on deck or 8 passengers. Unlike a landing craft, we have Port & Starboard loading only. Our openings are 5ft (60") wide, coupled with a pair of 1000 lbs ramps and a 500 lbs hand truck.

D&D Solutions' primary goal is to deliver friendly,
safe, reliable logistical solutions and efficient transportation of goods and passengers. We promise to make getting around or moving things, much easier and more convenient than EVER before!
What I am planning for 2024-2025!
This year, I expect considerable business growth resulting from relocating our homebase from Rockport to Gananoque!
Some upgrades are in the works for the boat this year. Before the season begins, I will be fitting the boat with a 3rd pontoon, increasing the working load capacity.
Future Endeavors
As the founder of D&D Marine Transport, I have a lot of goals and ideas; have a sneak peak below:
If all goes to plan, eventually and ideally, I would establish an on-shore facility with warehousing capabilities, where all of our customers could conveniently have their items shipped, stored then easily loaded onto our boat at their convenience.
The following ideas, I am considering but will ultimately depend on the needs and interests of islanders.
- Provide backup firefighting services along with our boats equipped with fire suppressing equipment for a quick response in the event of a fire.
- Provide some emergency locksmith/lockout services.
- Provide private property maintenance and upkeep services.
